My relaxed, studio-based family photography sessions take place at Paxcroft Farm in Hilperton – perfectly located for families travelling from Wiltshire, Somerset, Trowbridge, Frome, and Bath. The studio is warm, welcoming and designed to help everyone feel comfortable, even the most camera-shy family members.

What to Expect

Sessions typically last around an hour, giving us plenty of time to capture natural smiles, and the personalities that make your family unique. Before your session, we’ll chat about who’s coming along, the style of images you love, and any special group shots you’d like to include. Everything is tailored to you.

Family studio packages
A £75 session fee is required upon booking to secure all photography sessions, which covers your shoot and putting together your preview gallery. The session fee does not include any digital or printed images, but will be deducted from the value of the package you choose after you have chosen your images.
Around two weeks after your session, you’ll receive a preview gallery so that you can choose your favourite images and purchase your package.

This is What Happens When You Book Your Family Photoshoot
A family photoshoot with me is relaxed, fun and designed to be perfect for your family. When you arrive at the studio at Paxcroft Farm, you’ll have time to settle in, get comfortable and let the children explore the space. There’s no rush – I work at the pace that’s right for you and your family.
I’ll guide you gently through different poses, and I suggest activities and prompts that help draw out natural smiles and a real connection between you. You can expect plenty of giggles and snuggles, to create beautiful images that feel like you. I keep the session light and enjoyable so everyone stays relaxed in front of the camera.
Sessions usually last around an hour, depending on the ages and attention spans of little ones, and we’ll capture a mixture of group photos, individual portraits and any special combinations you’d like. We can include siblings together, children with grandparents, parents with their children, and more.
After the photoshoot, you’ll choose your favourite images from the gallery of portraits, whether you’d like digital files, stunning wall art, or gift prints for family members.

Family Photography FAQs
How far in advance should we book?
Family sessions tend to fill quickly, especially weekends. Booking 2–6 weeks ahead is ideal, but if you need a last-minute date, feel free to get in touch and I’ll do my best to fit you in.
What should we wear?
The most important thing is that you feel comfortable and confident. Neutrals and soft, coordinating colours photograph beautifully and keep the focus on your family’s connection. After booking, I’ll send you a simple style guide with helpful tips.
Can we include grandparents?
Yes! Whether it’s a small family unit or you’d like to bring along grandparents too, I’m happy to photograph families of all sizes. Just let me know who’s attending so I can plan the session layout.
What if my children don’t sit still?
Don’t worry, that’s completely normal. My sessions are designed to be relaxed and flexible, giving little ones space to move, play and be themselves. Some of the best photos happen in these natural moments.
Where is the studio located?
My family photography studio is at Paxcroft Farm in Hilperton, conveniently located for families travelling from Wiltshire, Somerset, Trowbridge, Frome and Bath. There’s easy parking right outside.
How long does a session last?
Most sessions take around one hour, but I always allow extra time for younger children who may need a break, a cuddle or a snack.
When will we see our images?
Your gallery will be ready around 1–2 weeks after your session. You’ll be able to choose your favourite images and any prints or wall art you’d like to order.
What if we need to reschedule?
Life with children can be unpredictable, if someone is unwell or something changes, just let me know as soon as possible and we can move your session to another date.
