Cake smash sessions
celebrating your baby’s first birthday
Your baby’s first year is full of wonderful milestones, and the perfect way to celebrate is to book a cake smash session in the comfort of my studio at Paxcroft Farm, Hilperton.
Cake smash photography shoots are divided into three parts. First, we’ll capture some beautiful family images of you with your baby and their siblings. We’ll also take some portraits of your baby on the set before the cake comes out.
The main part of the shoot is the cake smash itself. We’ll bring the cake out and photograph your baby enjoying their cake on their beautifully designed set. The last part of the session is a bubble bath for your little one – often their favourite part of the session!
Before your session, we’ll talk about colour schemes and decorations for your child’s set. While I don’t provide ‘themed’ sets as such, I will endeavour to design a beautiful session for you that encompasses your choice of colours while also reflecting the other work in my portfolio.
Collections
Cake Smash Collections
A £95 booking fee is payable upon booking to secure your cake smash session, which includes a beautful hand made cake for your session, your shoot and putting together your preview gallery.
The booking fee does not include any digital or printed images, but will be deducted from the value of the collection you choose after you have viewed your images..
Around two weeks after your session, you’ll receive a preview gallery so that you can choose your favourite images and purchase your collection.
Preview galleries can be viewed in my studio on a large high resolution monitor (highly recommended!) or via a secure online gallery.
Collection one – £225

- Portrait and cake smash and splash session at my studio, lasting around an hour
- Family images included
- Ten high-resolution digital images with full print licence, plus matching 6×8 prints
- Online gallery to download your chosen images and share with family and friends
Collection two – £295
- Pre-consultation by phone or at my studio
- Cake smash set, balloons and decorations
- Beautiful hand made 6inch cake supplied by a local baker
- Choice of outfits for baby
- Portrait and cake smash and splash session at my studio, lasting around an hour
- Family images included
- The whole gallery of edited high resolution digital images (approximately 30) with full print licence
- 10 matching 6×8 prints
- Online gallery to download your chosen images and share with family and friends
