Newborn photography for families in Wiltshire, Bath and Somerset
I am so pleased to share some images from baby Rupert’s newborn photography session with me at my studio in the Wiltshire countryside. I was delighted to welcome Rupert and his parents into the warm and comfortable environment at my studio in Wiltshire to ensure the perfect newborn photography session for their little one.
Booking a newborn photoshoot
Rupert’s dad contacted me when Rupert was four weeks old to book a newborn shoot for him. I was delighted to be able to get them booked in within a few days. While I advise bringing baby in between 5-14 days, we can still get some beautiful images until they are around six weeks old. Sometimes even a little older than this!
Planning the session
Before the session, I got in contact with Rupert’s parents to find out what kind of images they were looking for from their session. We decided we’d use a neutral pallet, including white and greys.

Rupert did such a fabulous job at his shoot. We were able to capture a lovely mix of sleepy newborn images, photos of him awake and family images of him with his mum and dad. This meant that Rupert’s family got a varied gallery of images to choose from in their collection, ready to print and frame.

If you’re expecting a baby and want to secure your newborn photography session for when they arrive, get in contact to find out more information on what the shoot involves and how to book! If your little one has already arrived in the last few days and you’ve decided you’d like some images of them while they’re still tiny, please contact me as soon as possible and I will try to get you booked in.
